Two kids of the same mother Christopher Kimbeng 4-year-old and Perrick Becca have died after eating leftover Irish potatoes.
The incident happened on Tuesday 28 July 2020 in the Kosala neighborhood, Kumba 2 district in the South West Region of Cameroon.
The third child has been rushed to the hospital for treatment after she started indicating signs of stomach pains.
According to the mother of the deceased, all three children were very fine health wise and were playing after consuming the leftover Irish potatoes that was prepared on Monday 27 July 2020 before she was called that they were dying.
Only the children had eaten the leftover food on Tuesday before the tragic incident.
Though many are suspecting that the irish potatoes could have been poisoned, investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the sudden death of these children.
