US presidential candidate, Donald Trump of the Republican party has declared himself winner of the 2020 US presidential election.
“Frankly we did win this election,” Trump said.
He said he was getting ready to celebrate his victory with his supporters.
"We were getting ready for a big celebration. We were winning everything. And all of a sudden it was just called off," Trump said.
Trump said that “Millions and millions of people voted for us,” Trump said [until] “A very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people.”
In a recent tweet that has been flagged by Twitter for containing misleading information, Trump claimed that some individuals are trying to steal the election, something which he would not allow to happen.
According to Trump, ballots must not be cast after the voting day.
“We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed! “ Trump tweeted.
Trump has called the election a major fraud and an embarrassment on America and that he would go to the Supreme Court to stop all votes.
“This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country,” Trump said.
Despite Trump being ready to celebrate his victory, one of the two candidates is expected to lead with 270 or more votes to be declared winner.
However, Trump has said that he would be making a statement tonight.
“I will be making a statement tonight. A big WIN!” Donald Trump.”
Trump is running the US 2020 presidential race with his counterpart Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.
