The Teranga Lions of Senegal succeeded to bag a 1-0 win against Guinea Bissau on day four of the AFCON2021 qualification matches.
With 12 points from four matches, Senegal is leading Group I comprised of Congo, Guinea Bissau, Eswatini and Senegal.
Initially slated for January 2021, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2021) was postponed to January 2022 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Senegal joins AFCON2022 host country Cameroon as they get ready for January 2022.
