Mali and Tunisia have qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals that will take place in Cameroon as from January 2022.
They join Senegal, who was the first qualifier, Algeria, Senegal and host country Cameroon.
19 places are still open to complete the list of 24 teams needed for the AFCON finals to be played in Cameroon come January 2022.
The next qualification matches shall be played between March 22 and 30.
In the Malian camp, Sekou Koita and Moussa Doumbia gave Namibia a 2-1 defeat in Windhoek which thus grabbing an eighth consecutive ticket for Mali in the African football tournament.
Tunisia on it’s part will be going to the finals for a record-extending 15th consecutive time after drawing 1-1 with Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, where Saifeddine Khaoui gave them an early lead.
Initially slated for January 2021, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2021) was postponed to January 2022 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) due to the coronavirus pandemic.
