Burkina Faso’s president Roch Marc Christian Kabore has promised Burkinabè people that he will respect and uphold the constitution and the laws as well as ensure justice for all.
“I swear to Burkinabe people and in my honour to preserve, respect and uphold the Constitution and the laws, to do everything possible to ensure justice for all in Burkina Faso”, Kabore said.
President Roch Kabore made such promises during his oath-taking ceremony in the country’s capital Ouagadougou on Monday 28 December after he won the November 22 presidential election for a second mandate.
Mr. Kabore has been in power since 2015 and won the November 22 presidential election with over 50% defeating his main opponent Eddie Komboigo.
