The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, John Pombe Magufuli is no more.
He died at the age of 61 after suffering from cardiac complications as confirmed by the country's vice-president Suluhu Hassan, Wednesday 17 March 2021 on state media.
John Magufuli replaced Jakaya Kikwete in 2015 and became the fifth president of Tanzania, after winning the 29 October 2015 presidential election.
