At least 14 people have died and several others missing in a landslide in Guizhou province in the southwest of the People's Republic of China on Wednesday 08 July 2020.
The landslide that has burried over nineteen houses, with more than sixty seriously damaged were triggered by torrential rainfall.
An 80-year-old woman is among six others rescued who were trapped in the incident.
Closed to 200 persons have been relocated to other villages while the rescue team continue with the search.
The landslides happen at a time when China is yet to recover from the economic and human losses caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
