Africa: Coronavirus cases surpass 400,000

The African continent has recorded over 400,000 cases of the novel Coronavirus since the outbreak of the outbreak on the continent in March 2020.

Over 10,000 people have died in Africa as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and, a total of 193,000 recoveries have been registered. 

Cameroon is the most touched country in the Central African region with more than 12,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases. 

Current global COVID-19 statistics stands at above 10millions confirmed cases, 5.3millions recovered cases and, over 500 thousands deaths. 

Together, let us respect the COVID-19 prevention measures at our individual levels so as to curb the propagation of the coronavirus.

Wash hands with clean running water, use alcohol based hand sanitizer, put on your face mask and, do not forget to respect social distancing.
